For DarkHorse Productions’ inaugural season, Jane and Megan worked at the Elizabeth Sneddon Theatre on Very Very Big Productions’ “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” as Stage Manager and Sound Technician. Their knowledge and experience is a valued asset to any production and more and more companies and performers are coming to rely on their professionalism.
They have worked with Very Very Big Productions on a number of subsequent stage productions of “Nunsense” and “Let the Good Times Roll” (as Sound Designer, Technician and Stage Manager) and “The Selfish Giant” ballet as Sound Technician and Stage Manager as well as Conferences and corporate events.

Jane Stage Managed KickstArt’s “Winnie the Pooh”, “Jungle Book” and “Aladdin” and both subsequently Sound Designer/Technician and Stage Manager on KickstArt’s “Sleeping Beauty”, “Cinderella”, “Wizard of Oz” and “Little Shop of Horrors”.
DarkHorse Productions has more recently turned its interest to Set Design and its ability to make the best use of space, lighting and a limited budget has already been recognised! It has designed scenery for “Let the Good Times Roll” and the 2005 and ![]()
2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 productions of “Shall We Dance"

Megan's Sound Design credits include “Nunsense”, “Let the Good Times roll”, “Fiddler on the Roof”, “The Wiz”, “Mercury Rising”,"Annie", "Sleeping Beauty", "Cinderella", "Wizard of Oz", "Little Shop of Horrors", "School of Rock", "Big River", "Noises Off" and "Peter Pan"
Apart from working locally in Durban, Jane and Megan have both ventured further afield to the Johannesburg Civic Theatre, the Grahamstown Monument Theatre, Cape Town’s Baxter Theatre and Sun City. Early in 2006 they toured the country with AROP’s “Princess Magogo”, the world’s first Zulu opera and then Jane went
to Het Muziekteater in Amsterdam and Den Norske Opera House in Oslo with the production.
DarkHorse Productions were responsible for the sourcing and supply of all additional technical staff required for the set-up and strike of the Durban run of the South African production of “We Will Rock You” at the Playhouse Company.
DarkHorse Productions have most recently been responsible for the lighting upgrade and refurbishment of Holy Family College stage lighting as well as working as Sound Technician and Stage Manager for the Durban ICC Arena Opening.
